Join us for Q Commons!

The Q Commons global webcast, with a regional and local focus, is a great opportunity to learn and discuss as a community the different ways in which the local church can impact the communities and neighborhoods around us. Every year, thousands of Christians and churches tune into the global broadcast of the Q Commons, a one-evening two-hour program in which multiple speakers—some addressing the world and some addressing our own locality—through a series of short TED talk-like discourses and panel discussions.

In between speakers, we will get the opportunity to discuss at our own location the themes, ideas, struggles, and opportunities connected to the topics presented. The title for the Q Commons this year is “The Power of We,” and the hope is that the event will “educate Christians on how they can bring hope and leadership to their communities in a critical moment in America.”

So maybe listening to a 2-hour event won’t radically change the world, but this opportunity can be a great catalyst to begin a long-term discussion on how Incarnation, as a church and community, can impact and be a greater stakeholder in the lives of those around us, and the neighborhoods that we call home.

We will be watching and discussing the 2018 Q Commons broadcast on November 9th at 7:30pm at the Grays’. No RSVP is necessary, but if you have any questions or if you are planning or thinking about coming, please feel free to connect with me at Quauhtli.olivieri@gmail.com.
